Our Story

A family business spanning three generations, with a focus on quality craftsmanship.

After working with a number of so-called professional tradesmen, I became frustrated with their unreliability and focus on cutting corners, often compromising quality in order to cut costs and speed up the job.

They weren’t doing this out of greed to make more money though. They weren’t bad people. They were just so disorganised and lacking in project management/business skills that they would routinely find themselves running out of time and over budget. Taking on any work they could to desperately bring in as much money as they could just to keep afloat.

There had to be a better way. 

Working with my father, an experienced carpenter, I wanted to start a business with a focus on quality and customer service that brought together what we are good at with what we love to do. Crafting bespoke garden rooms and decking. That’s it.

We don’t build conservatories.

We don’t do landscaping.

We aren’t a kitchen fitter (unless you want a kitchen in your garden room!)

We just design and build bespoke garden rooms. This focus has allowed us to deliver the highest quality of service, whilst achieving a level of efficiency that our competitors only dream of.

This means that we maintain the highest levels of craftsmanship from the very start of the project right through to the end. No corner-cutting, no rushed paint jobs, just attention, care and the Hamilton Rooms Guarantee.
